The Cafe’ Helping Seniors

In News by update2

Jesus (82) and Ada (81) immigrated in the early 60’s and they have worked hard to survive in a different country, culture, and language. Life has not been easy as they raised 5 kids and now live on a low fixed income.

Living independently during their golden years is enjoyable and
a rewarding time of life. TheCafé has been helping them to maintain their dignity, quality of life, and independence while living at home as long as they are safe, healthy, and happy.

At the Cafe, we are working hand in hand with partner agencies, churches, and individuals so our community can age with dignity and no senior has to decide between food and needed medicine.

We are providing a variety of services to seniors – nutritious hot meals, fresh produce, dairy items, toiletries, paper products, access
to health care programs, financial assistance, transportation to doctor’s appointments, as well as social and learning activities such as; sewing, cooking, gardening, and English classes.

We are committed to preserve and expand our programs and services for the low-income seniors among us who struggle.
